What you need:

1 (5 lb.) rabbit

Sea salt

Pepper (freshly ground)

2 onions (sliced)

1 garlic clove (sliced)

2 bay leaves

1 whole clove

1 cup hot water + ½ cup cold water

2 tbsp soy sauce

2 tbsp plain flour

What you do:

Rub salt and pepper all over the rabbit. Place the garlic inside the rabbit cavity. Put the onions in the crock pot.

Set the rabbit on top of the onions. Add clove, bay leaves, hot water, and soy sauce. Cover and cook on low for 10 to 12 hours.

Remove the rabbit with slotted spatulas. Set aside. In a small bowl, whisk together the flour with ½ cup cold water.

Add this mixture to the crock pot. Cook and stir until it’s a thickened gravy. Cut the rabbit into pieces and serve with the gravy.
