What you need:
1 cup semisweet chocolate drops
1 tsp butter
24 large marshmallows
1 pack of matchmakers or (chocolate sticks) for the legs about 1 inch long each
1 large bag of package mini candy-coated chocolate pieces (Smarties)

What you do:

In a microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate chips and butter. Microwave until melted. Stir occasionally until chocolate is smooth. Pour chocolate into a sealable plastic bag and set aside.

Line a cookie sheet with grease proof paper.Stick 4  1 inch  Matchmakers into each side of marshmallow for legs, and arrange ongrease proof paper.

Using scissors, cut one corner off the bag of melted chocolate. Drizzle over the marshmallow spiders. Attach 2 smarties (candies) to each marshmallow for eyes.

Chill until chocolate hardens.

what you need:
30 fresh strawberries

8 ounces white baking chocolate broken into piece

1 tsp shortening

1/4 cup miniature semisweet chocolate chips

What you do:
Wash strawberries and gently pat with paper towels until completely dry.

In a microwave-safe bowl, melt white chocolate and shortening at 50% power; stir until smooth.

Dip strawberries in chocolate mixture; place on grease proof paper, allowing excess chocolate to form the ghosts’ tails. Immediately press chocolate chips into coating for eyes. Freeze for 5 minutes.
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt remaining chocolate chips; stir until smooth. Dip a toothpick into melted chocolate and draw a mouth on each face.

What you need:

4oz / 115g icing sugar ( sifted)
2oz / 55g condensed milk
1oz / 25g milk or plain chocolate
few drops of peppermint essence
few drops of green food colouring.

What you do:

In a bowl, mix together the sifted icing sugar, condensed milk & a few drops of peppermint essence. Knead together until it’s a soft dough & firm.
Split the mixture into half.
With the first half, roll out to roughly 1/4″ inch / 5 mm thick, then cut into rounds (or heart shapes) with a small cutter & place on grease proof paper to set. Using a fork gently place onto the rounds to make a pattern on each one.
With the other half add a few drops of green Colouring & knead in until the mixture is all green.
Repeat as with the 1st half, rolling & cutting into shapes.
Place in a cool place to dry.
In a small bowl melt the chocolate. Dip one side of the peppermint creams into the melted chocolate and place on grease proof paper and place in fridge until set.

What you need :

9 1/2oz / 265g of plain chocolate
9 fl oz / 250 ml water
4 tbsp sugar ( optional)
some ice & cold water ( for mixing)

What you do:

Place ice and cold water into a mixing bowl , then place another mixing bowl on top of that (to keep ingredients cold & chilled).
In a saucepan, break up the chocolate into small pieces. Add the water & sugar (if using), and place saucepan over a medium heat whisking sometimes.
When the chocolate is all melted, take the saucepan off the heat and pour the mixture into the mixing bowl that’s been chilling .
With a whisk , start mixing until the mixture until it starts thickening and resembling whipped cream.
Continue whisking until it thickens more, (but be careful not to over whisk).

Divide mixture into stemmed glasses, decorate with whipped cream and chocolate or heart shaped sweets and serve.
You can pipe the word ‘love’ with a little of melted chocolate onto grease proof paper and leave to set in fridge. Carefully peel off the paper and place onto the whipped cream.
